Defoe, Diarra and Sol Campbell!!! in January???

Only joking about Campbell, although Harry was very vocal about our travelling support recently, I wonder how he will feel if takes the job. Time will tell, if Harry does come in rest assured January will be very interesting.

To all going today, I'm sure we'll win, enjoy the feeling - I'm looking forward to that victorious match report.

I disagree about Levy's timing. If he had to do it, he had to do it quickly. No sense in dragging it out like the way Jol's sacking was handled. If Spurs had contacted Redknapp, then it would be all over the press within a day or less. We have a lot of games this week. I'd rather they sack Ramos right before our match v Bolton instead of right before our NEXT match (Arsenal on Wednesday). If Levy had waited to sack Ramos after the Bolton match, then we'd all be complaining that he did it right before the Arsenal match.

I'm not so sure I'm glad he's gone, but I guess something had to be done. Although I liked the guy just fine, I never really became 'attached' to him like I did (we all did) with Jol.

Harry Redknapp has agreed to become Spurs manager... A move in the right direction perhaps

Oog, you're right mate, Levy's timing is a excellent as ever... Not!

Anyway, the only way is looking more upward in the long run. Time to roll your sleeves up Harry, kick some arses & get some matches won, if it starts tomorrow all well & good, but I'm not holding my breath... Still, it would be great, wouldn't it

Goodbye Damien. Not your fault someone gave you a job you had no qualifications for!

Well done Mr Levy - the evening before the game. ideal timing as always.

I still can't believe Ramos decided to play King in the UEFA cup.

That may well turn out to be the decision that sinks his career, and our club.
With all the Red cards and injuries - what 11 will start?
We should play Tainio and Steeed, that would give us some muscle.

Oh.

sputnik - Judging by Ramos' own words, you wont see King playing on Sunday as he can 'only play 1 game every 10 days or so'.

I agree with you that it's wrong - he played last night and we lost so you could say we 'wasted' his performance. Now we have to rely on Woody and Corluka - who've not exactly formed a formidable partnership - against Bolton. In my opinion King shouldn't play at all if he is not capable of playing as frequently as we require. Some kind of partnership needs forming, but due to players being cup-tied in Europe it makes that very difficult to encourage.

On Sunday, I think the thing we have going for us is that Bolton generally play not to get beat away from home and would be happy not to lose (same as us really!). that said, they are playing the whipping boys and may just fancy their chances against our fragile, confidence-drained mob.

I'm not going to make another prediction, but one thing I will say is that we CAN win the game, we can actually win any game we play (it's 11 v 11 after all) but we do need one major thing to happen and that is a reversal of fortune. A bit of luck (or a lot of it) is needed and of late it just seems that the rub of the green has gone against us several times per game. Of course, much of it is self-inflicted, but isn't it about time the footballing gods paid us back for the Pedro Mendes incident at Old Trafford? Or Lasagnegate?
